Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about scope, pricing, and how we work with SMEs.

Who is business operations support for?

Sole traders and SMEs that need practical help with websites, email, CRM, automations, and admin — but do not want to hire a full-time digital operator or juggle multiple freelancers.

How does pricing work?

Fixed-price setup projects (from £150), hourly support (£25–£75/hour depending on the task), and monthly retainers from £125/month. Everything is listed on our pricing page.

What is included in a monthly retainer?

Essential — up to 2 hours/month for email support and small fixes. Growth — up to 5 hours with priority response and light automation. Managed operations — up to 10 hours with systems upkeep, reporting, and vendor liaison.

Do you offer a free assessment?

Initial enquiry calls are free. Our structured business systems audit (£150) reviews your tools and delivers a 90-day recommendation plan — a useful starting point if you are not sure where to begin.

Is this the same as application development?

No — business operations support is day-to-day digital operations for SMEs. Our application development services cover custom software, legacy modernisation, and enterprise integration. Many clients start with operations support and move to bespoke development when they outgrow spreadsheets and SaaS limits.

What about response times?

Retainer clients get priority response during UK business hours. One-off and hourly work is scheduled by agreement. Rush work within 48 hours carries a 25% surcharge; after-hours support adds 50%.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Most work is delivered remotely UK-wide. We are based in Maidenhead, Berkshire — on-site visits outside the local area may include travel or a call-out fee.

Can I combine services into a bundle?

Yes — we offer Starter, Growth, Managed, and Local business launch bundles. See typical bundles or ask us to tailor one to your setup.
